Roasting
What exactly do I get from a roast?
A conversion score from 0 to 100. Four to six kills in priority order, each with what is wrong, why it costs you, and the fix. Then paste-ready rewrites for your headline, hero subhead, and CTA.
Every criticism ships with a fix. The roast targets the page, never the person who made it.
My URL would not load. Why?
Our fetcher reads public HTML only. It gives up after 9 seconds, stops reading at 600 KB, and refuses private network addresses. It identifies itself as BluntpageBot, so a firewall or bot blocker may turn it away.
Fixes: allow BluntpageBot, or use HTML paste mode. Open the page in your browser, view source, copy everything, and paste it in. Same roast, no fetch.
Can I roast a page behind a login or on staging?
Not by URL. We never ask for your credentials and the fetcher cannot log in. Paste the HTML instead. That works for staging sites, drafts, and anything else the public internet cannot see.
How does re-check work?
After you ship your fixes, hit Re-check on the roast. We run it again on the same page and show the score delta, plus which kills are fixed, improved, or still there.
Free accounts get one re-check per roast. Paid plans get unlimited re-checks.
The roast got something wrong. Now what?
It happens. The roast is AI-generated advice from a language model reading your page. It cannot see your analytics, your audience, or the test you ran last spring. Treat it like a sharp consultant: usually right, sometimes confidently wrong.
If a kill is plainly mistaken, open a ticket below with the roast link. Those reports go straight into our eval set.

Account and billing
What do the plans cost?
Free: 2 roasts a month, with 1 re-check per roast. Roast: $15 a month, or $12 a month billed annually, for unlimited roasts and re-checks, 3 alternate rewrites per slot, and Markdown export. Agency: $49 a month, or $39 a month billed annually, which adds client labels, 5 seats, and white-label export.
All prices are in US dollars. No card is needed for the Free plan.
How do I cancel?
From Settings, any time. No call, no survey wall. If anything in there gives you trouble, open a ticket and we will cancel it for you the same business day. You keep paid features until the end of the period you already paid for, then the account drops to Free. Your roasts stay.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes. Ask within 14 days of your first paid charge and we refund it in full. Email support or open a ticket below. After that window, cancel any time and you will not be charged again.
I signed up with Google. Can I add a password, or the other way round?
Accounts are matched by email address. If you signed up with Google, use Forgot password on the sign-in page to set a password for the same email. If you signed up with a password, you can use Google sign-in with the same email address.
What we keep, and how to take it back.
Data
Do you train AI models on my pages?
No. Your pages, pasted HTML, and roast results are private. They are never sold and never used to train models, by us or by our AI provider. We send page content to the OpenAI API to generate the roast, and API data is not used for training.
How do I export or delete my data?
Both live in Settings. Export gives you everything as one JSON file. Delete account removes your account, roasts, and pasted HTML immediately. It is a real delete, not a hidden flag, so export first if you want a copy.
